Couple Dogon

This double statuette represents a Dogon couple: the woman is on the left and the man is on the right. “The Dogon” are a people of approximately 1,200,000 inhabitants. They occupy the region called "Dogon Country" which extends from the cliffs of Bandiagara to the southwest of the Niger loop.
